Camp Allegro Wichita: December 2013

We are a music day camp for youth and young adults (ages 4 through college). We also have masterclasses, workshops, and performances throughout the year. We offer instruction on all instruments including piano and organ for musicians of all abilities: advanced, intermediate, and even beginners. Camp Allegro Wichita provides performance opportunities for chamber music, orchestra, choir, band, jazz band as well as fiddling and jazz improv. Electives in other fine arts are also available.

Summer 2014 Session dates!

Camp Allegro Wichita Summer 2014 dates will be June 23-27 for our regular 5-day campers and June 20-27 for Camp Musica (our advanced campers). Check out our website for more updates throughout the year. Our brochure will be available in February 2014.

Now we are on Twitter @Camp_Allegro as well!

And on a related note (well, sort of), violas are in the news (and no viola jokes this time, either). Berlin has declared 2014 the year of the viola. Read about it here in The Strad magazine.

We look forward to seeing new and returning campers (especially violists, of course) at Camp Allegro Wichita this summer!
